Leadership
Leaders are catalysts for change. But we resist change — and for good reason.
Change challenges the system which keeps us in balance.
And this system works perfectly — for most of us, most of the time.
Changing ourselves or our organizations is like learning to use muscles
we never knew we had, in ways we never knew we could.
It requires understanding and overcoming our resistance to change.
This can be an elusive process—like trying to catch our shadow—because
we identify ourselves with the maps we use to see the world.
Genuine change requires us to revise those maps. And for most of us,
this requires a coach.
Coaching. Because a map is not the territory.
Nothing will change unless you do.
